One hot afternoon many years ago, little Gennaro — Jenny to those who loved him — wandered the narrow streets of Naples alongside his mother and two brothers, Mirko and Christian. It was something of a family ritual: walking together, discovering the most hidden corners of their city, listening to their mother's stories.
That day, they stumbled upon the doorway of an old salon. Jenny was drawn first by the scent — a symphony of aromas he had never encountered together — and then by the woman inside, cutting hair with the confidence of someone conducting an orchestra. Her clients smiled, sinking into their chairs, their laughter weaving with the background music to create a scene from another era entirely.
She noticed them and invited them in. She sat Jenny on a large padded chair and offered him a chocolate — a creamy, handmade praline from the bakery next door. "The best in the world," she said. And in that moment, cuddled by the softness of the armchair, Jenny understood something profound: a hairdresser is far more than a trade. They are a friend, a confidant, a shoulder when you need one. From Capodimonte to the ateliers of London, and finally to Milan's vibrant Anfossi District, Jenny transformed a childhood dream into a living reality.
The same Neapolitan warmth that enchanted him so many years before now fills every corner of his salon — reimagined, elevated, and entirely his own.
